Understanding candidate scores

A guide to interpreting the 1–5 star scores across each assessment dimension.

Every candidate who completes an AI interview receives scores across five dimensions, each rated 1–5 stars.

Score meaning

  • 5 stars — Exceptional. Candidate exceeded expectations significantly.
  • 4 stars — Strong. Candidate met and often exceeded expectations.
  • 3 stars — Adequate. Candidate meets basic requirements.
  • 2 stars — Below expectations. Gaps noted in this area.
  • 1 star — Significant gaps. Does not meet minimum requirements.

Scores are relative to the job description you provided. Make sure your job description clearly describes required skills and experience for the most accurate scoring.
