Interview topics define what the AI will explore with each candidate. You can mix preset topics with custom questions to create a tailored interview.

Types of topics

• Preset Topics — built-in areas like Technical Skills, Leadership, or Problem Solving
• Custom Topics — define your own area with a description and ideal candidate profile
• Custom Questions — ask a specific question verbatim

Best practices

• Use 3–6 topics for a balanced interview
• Be specific in custom topic descriptions — the more detail you provide, the better the AI tailors its questions
• For technical roles, add a role-specific technical topic
• For leadership positions, include a leadership and influence topic
